David Cobb, the National Spokesperson for MOVE TO AMEND will be speaking at two events in the Tampa Bay area this weekend. On Sunday, February 17th, 2013, he will be at the Roosevelt 2.0, 1812 N 15th St, in Tampa’s historic Ybor City neighborhood at 6 PM. The next night, February 18th, 2013 at 7 PM, David will speak at the St. Petersburg Unitarian Universalist Church in downtown St. Petersburg, 719 Arlington Ave N, right next to Mirror Lake.

Move to Amend is a National Coalition of over 257,000 people and organizations whose goal is amending the United States Constitution to end corporate rule by building a multiracial, cross-class Democracy Movement. These events are the last leg of David Cobb’s southeast portion of the tour.
David Cobb is an attorney and lifelong activist, environmentalist, Presidential Candidate in 2004, radical and peaceful revolutionary and a dynamic and fiery speaker. This tour is an effort to build connections, inspire activism, and reveal the origins of Corporate Power in America. David's presentations are part history lesson and part heart-felt call-to-action!

"Challenging Corporate Rule & Creating Democracy" aims to help local folks understand how they can work to abolish corporate personhood and establish a government of, by, and for the people.

There will be several local speakers that will open the program and speak about the money being funneled from corporations into local elections. Those speakers will include Mark Adams, JD, MBA and John Russell, ARNP.

These events are free and open to the public.
We appreciate your donations to help us finance these tours.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
